Carrick manager, Gary Haveron: Unblieveable. Remarkable. They talk about Aguero time but we will never see that happening again. With six minutes to go we’re out of the league.

I did say to the boys at half-time that if we get one we will get two but I didn’t think we would leave it as late as that.

If you look at the goals and you break them down, they were quality.

Asked if it feels better than winning the treble.

We were written off early door and nobody gave us a hope and maybe rightfully so. We didn’t have much to work with - in fact we had virtually nothing to work with.

We’ve ran our race and we’ve been good enough to stay in the Premier League. That result is justification for all the late goals we have conceded.

Goalscoring hero, Miguel Chines: I’ve never scored a more important goal and I don’t think I ever will. It seems like a dream to me! It’s never over until it’s over. As soon a Surgy equalised we knew there would be another chance.

Mark Surgenor: After I scored there was a real belief in the team and they started to panic. And Miguel pops up with an overhead kick. Miguel has that quality. He’s a goalscorer and you always keep him on the pitch for that.
