Portadown up first for Coleraine

Coleraine will play on Portadown the opening day of the 2016-17 season.

The fixtures, which were released at noon today (Thursday) sees the Bannsiders entertain Pat McGibbon’s side on Saturday 6th August.

After that Oran Kearney’s men face a trip to Windsor on Wednesday 10th to take on Linfield, before hitting the road again on the following Saturday to face Dungannon Swifts.

Home matches against Crusaders (20th) and Glentoran (27th) makes up the rest of the first month.

The Bannsiders also face a trip to Warden Street on Boxing Day to take on derby Rivals Ballymena United.
