Tim Mouncey’s first-half red card left the Ports on the backfoot.

However, Mark McAllister was presented with a number of scoring opportunities as the home side carved out openings across the Danske Bank Premiership fixture.

A golden chance arrived when a penalty kick was awarded to the Ports in the second half - but McAllister’s shot was saved by Brian Neeson.
