On rink 1 Mark Pearson, Mark Jones, Geoff Padgett and Chris Jones played Nicky Mc Caw and after 5 ends it was all square at 3-3.

A 2,2,3,1,1,1 for the home rink for the loss of a 2 gave them a 13-5 lead with 12 played and a 1,2 by Chris on the next 2 ends was responded to by a 4,1 to give Nicky a 10 shot (18-8) lead. Following 2 singles by Chris, Nicky finished the game with a 2,2,1 for a good 23-10 win.

It was the home rink skipped by Willie McCaw who made the early running on rink 2 against Patsy Boorman, Jonathan Reid, Aaron Foster and Roy Hunter as he raced into a 11-1 lead with just 5 ends played.

A 1,2,2 by Roy for the loss of a single reduced the arrears to 6 shots (12-6) but with 12 ends played Willie held a 15-8 advantage.

Ends 13 and 14 were decisive as a 5,3 for the Ballymoney rink opened a 15 shot lead however after sharing 2's and dropping a 1,2 it was Roy who had the last say finishing the match with a 1,5 albeit too little too late as the home rink secured a 28-16 victory.

There was a high scoring contest on rink 3 where Adam Hunter, Stephen Young, Peter Mc Cann and Eamon Mc Cann were up against Gary Kelly.

This game was close in the early stages and with a 3 on the 8th end it was Eamon who went in front 6-8, however a 3,2,2,2 sequence gave Gary a 7 shot (15-8) lead.

After swapping 2s a 3 for Eamon on the 15th end brought the score to 17-13 but a 6 for the local rink was crucial as it represented the final difference in the rink score as Gary, despite a late rally by Eamon with a 1,2 3 on the last three ends, finished a 26-20 winner.
