STRIKER Michael Rafter is enjoying his football at the minute and he hopes to help Derry City gain another three points at Bohemians tomorrow evening (Friday KO 7.05pm).

The talented front man, who has scored five league goals this season and has netted three times in his last two outings, feels tomorrow night’s clash at Dalymount Park is going to be tough.

City will be without Rory Patterson, Sean Houston, Kevin Deery and Stewart Greacen, but on the plus side Paddy Kavanagh is fighting for his first competitive start with the Candystripes.

The former Shelbourne man came off the bench during Monday’s win over Bray Wanderers and Rafter feels Kavanagh’s experience this season will help him and all the other young players in the dressing room.

Rafter spoke to Sentinel Sport’s Editor Kevin McLaughlin ahead of the trip to Dublin.

Incidentally the game will be shown live on RTE 2 and there will also be commentary on Drive 105 from 7pm.
