Rangers, Liverpool set for Showgrounds Milk Cup clash

Ballymena will host one of the most mouth-watering Dale Farm Milk Cup matches in prestigious youth tournament’s history this summer.

LIverpool and Rangers - two clubs with massive support bases in the Ballymena area - will play at the Warden Street Showgrounds in the Junior section of the competition, after being paired together in last week’s draw.

Ballymena Showgrounds will once again host the finals night of the tournament on Friday, August 1, while matches wil take place throughout the week at the Showgrounds, Broughshane and Clough.

Monday, July 28 - County Antrim v County Down (Premier section, 6pm); Northern Ireland v China (Elite section, 8pm).

Tuesday, July 29 - Cherry Orchard v RCD Espanyol (Premier, 6pm); Rangers v Liverpool (Junior, 8pm).

Wednesday, July 30 - County Fermanagh v Everton (Junior, 3.30pm); Lusaka Academy v County Fermanagh (Premier, 7pm).
