Rangers lose out to Linfield

New Carrick signing Sencer Yilmaz was on target for Rangers last night in a 4-2 defeat to Linfield at Windsor Park.

The Blues opened the scoring late in the first-half of the pre-season friendly through Brian McCaul. They doubled their advantage after the break when Mark McAllister’s deflected shot found its way past Robert Robinson.

Rangers, however, found themselves back on level terms soon after with two goals in the space of a minute. Striker Rory McGilloway netted after some good build-up play before Yilmaz headed home to make it 2-2.
