Rasharkin United chiefs have kicked off a search for a new manager.

Former boss Chris Peacock stood down at the end of the season following an impressive tenure.

And now Rasharkin officials have stepped up their efforts to find a worthy replacement.

Rasharkin have enjoyed a number of trophy-laden seasons in the last decade, including the lifting of the Canada Trophy, Crawford Cup and McReynolds Cup.

Rasharkin won the Ballymena Provincial & Intermediate League in 2004/05 and were runners-up in 2010/11.

Last season they finished fourth and were runners-up in the Crawford Cup.

However chairman Peter Baird wants to see them back in top spot in their division.

He said: “We’ve three guys in mind but we want others to know that we’re looking for the most successful candidate to move the club forward.”
