Regional trial matches
A host of North West players have been called up to the Northern Ireland Western Region team for next week’s practice match to select the UEFA Nations Cup squad.
Institute duo Marty Gallagher and Dean Jarvis, along with Limavady United foursome Chris Rodden, Kevin Roddy, Cathair Friel and Trevor Parkhill are all in the squad to face the Eastern Region on May 16 and 23 and then from those games the Northern Ireland squad will be decided for the UEFA Nations Cup competition, which takes place in Macedonia, in August.
