Riada beat Ringsend 5-0 away only two weeks ago, so the Ballymoney men were hopeful of another comfortable win.

But a much changed Ringsend team were a completely different proposition.

Ringsend started well and created a couple of good chances before finally taking the lead after a long punt up field from the keeper led to a Ringsend striker running through and lobbing McGaughey in the Riada goal.

Riada then upped their game, and equalised not long after, when a long throw-in found Dean Brownlow whose shot was saved and Ryan Christie fired in the rebound. This left the half time score 1-1

Riada dominated the second half missing a host of chances to win the game.

McCook volleyed over from close range, after good work by Graur.

Christie then hit the cross bar from a McCook corner.

McCook then crossed for Christie again, only for the latter to be thwarted at point blank range.

Gillen had a close range shot blocked late on and Alexander, McCook and Graur all came close again on a frustrating day for the home side.
