Riada win Derek Clark Memorial Cup

The venue was Kilkeel Leisure Centre on Saturday and eight gymnastics clubs from all over Northern Ireland were represented. The event commenced at 10am and saw a packed programme of gymnastics executed, entertaining the audience and supporters to 5pm.

A bars and beam.

And not only did the team all pick up individual placings and titles but won the overall team memorial annual cup, a fabulous achievement by Riada gymnasts. Coaches Karen Graham and Cathy Bell Allen are extremely proud of the results and gave credit to their young members who have trained hard over the past months to achieve this amazing result. Riada club has opened its membership for 2011/2012 applications in the following disciplines:

Pre-School Gymnastics, Kindergym Gymnastics, gymnastics, trampolining, cheerleading.

Riada has been well established in the north coast area and has earned a successful reputation in all three areas with the ongoing success of the trampoline teams, its minor cheerleading team selected for Team UK, and now the icing on the cake with a triple result with the gymnasts achieving the NI Derek Clark Memorial.
