Search begins for Derry Milk Cup stars

THE County Londonderry Football Association begin the search for Junior Team players for the 2012 Milk Cup. Trials will take place in all four council areas in the county, Derry, Coleraine, Limavady and Magherafelt.

A player registration form is available on the County Londonderry website. All players who feel they are eligible should complete the form online as soon as possible. Registration for the junior team will close on Tuesday 17th April.

To be eligible for selection Junior Team players must be born on or after 01 January 1997. Also parents or guardians of players must live at a current address in County Londonderry.

The Junior squad is managed by Ollie Mullan.

Junior Milk cup trails for this years tournament are:

Derry - Venue -Magee University on Sunday 15th April commencing at 10am

Magherafelt - Venue -Meadowbank Sports Arena, Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, Sunday 15th April, start time 3.30pm.

Limavady - Scroggy Road Playing fields 3G, Sunday 15 April with a start time of 6.30pm

Coleraine - Anderson Park, on Monday 16th April commencing at 6pm.

Players attending are asked to bring shinpads, socks, shorts, football boots and suitable clothing.
