Six goal thriller at Stangmore

Glenavon produced another excellent second half comeback at Dungannon on Friday night but in the end had to settle for a point after a pulsating 3-3 draw.

The visitors trailed 2-0 at the break but it was game on after William Murphy pegged a goal back early in the second period.

Glenavon dominated after this and after Guy Bates had levelled Mark Patton appeared to have sealed a great win for Gary Hamilton’s side.

However, sub Shane McCabe gave a needless penalty away and Boyce rattled home the spot kick to set up a frantic finish.
