The experienced quartet of William Murphy, Kris Lindsay, Kyle Neill and David Rainey have put pen to paper for another 12 months while 19-year old midfielder Sammy McIlveen and winger Adam Foley, who missed the season after getting injured in pre-season, have also agreed new one year deals.

Meanwhile defender Brendan Shannon has parted company with Glenavon.

Via Twitter Shannon said: “I have with a heavy heart left Glenavon FC. I loved my time at the club and was privileged to be the club captain for the last few years. I would like to thank everyone at the club for all they did for me over the past four and a half years. I have made many friends from the players, staff, board and fans and I wish you all every success in the future but it’s time for a new challenge.”
