SLIDESHOW: Mini Soccer League kicks off
The P2 and P3 age group opened the 2014 Ballymena Invitational Mini Soccer League last Saturday at the Ballymena Showgrounds with four teams playing in the P2 Section and seven in the P3 section.
There were teams from Carniny Youth, BUFC YA, Northend Utd Youth, and Star Utd participating.
The weather remained fine for all the childrenand organisers, with a good day of football which was watched by a large crowd of spectators.

Hide AdLinfield player, Rodney Brown a former player in the Mini Soccer League with Connor and Carniny Youth presented the medals for all the children competing in the competition.
Rodney played for 7 years in the local league and is one of many former players now plying their trade in the Irish League.
The league will take a short break next week due to the Ballymena Agricultural Show being on in the Showgrounds and will resume on Saturday 7th with the P4 Age group.
