SLIDESHOW: Outgoing Council’s links with club hailed at United dinner

Ballymena United’s long-standing link with Ballymena Borough Council was highlighted at Saturday’s final pre-match lunch of the season.

It was the last such event before the local government reform next month.

Master of ceremonies Edwin McLaughlin told guests: “You only have to look around you to see what Ballymena Borough Council has done for this club and for the town in general.”

Saturday’s sold-out event attracted a bumper turnout of 32 tables.
