SML round-up: All Saints end Carniny’s Rainey Cup reign

ALL Saints Old Boys’ fascinating league title battle with Carniny Rangers remains unresolved – but Saints ended the league champions’ interest in another competition at the weekend.

All Saints came from a goal down to comeback and dump holders Carniny out of the Rainey Cup and earn themselves a place in the last four.

Elsewhere, Harryville Homers recovered from the disappointment of their Junior Shield dismissal with a 5-1 win at Clough Rangers which keeps them mathematically in the hunt for the Division One title, although that appears to be reliant upon a freakish set of results in Saints’ and Carniny’s remaining games.
