All Saints OB 7, Chimney Corner Reserves 1: In the first minute Gavin Burnside blocked a clearance from a Corner defender and the ball broke to Peter McReynolds to get Saints off to the perfect start.

Corner drew level four minutes later with a clever lobbed shot but Saints regained the lead within two minutes this time Philip Lynn broke down the right and drilled the ball across for Burnside to fire home.

The third goals came when Brian Watt carried the ball down the left before slipping in Liam Cassley who cut in before playing the ball across the box for Peter McReynolds to slot home.

McReynolds won his side a penalty when he was brought down by a heavy tackle from the Corner keeper. Burnside stepped up and slotted home the penalty kick to put Saints 4-1 up at half time.

Saints introduced 17 year old Aaron Keenan in place of the injured McReynolds at the break and on the hour mark Keenan made up for his earlier misses by shaking off a defender and slotting the ball home.

Five minutes later Burnside played in Keenan and he fired home to make it 6-1. Keenan completed the rout when he collected a Liam Cassley pass to complete his hat trick.

Sirocco Works II 4, FC Moylena 5: Moylena took the lead after a great through ball from Gavin McConnell to Ross McNabb who raced on to it and finished sweetly. Sirocco were then awarded a penalty and duly tucked away the spot kick.

Sirocco tails were up and then took the lead through an unsure clearance at the back. Moylena hit back almost immediately when a great move from defending a corner, passing the length of the pitch led to Mark McKeown slotting home at the back post.

The second half started poorly for Moylena who went behind again but they again levelled through a free kick from Paul Milliken which was nodded home at the back post by Keith McCrea. Ross McNab then added a fourth after beating the offside trap and getting to the ball just before the advancing keeper.

McNabb completed his hat-trick when he found the net at a corner with a sweet finish from just inside the box. Sirocco got one back towards the end but Moylena held firm.

Remo 1, FC Antrim 2: An under strength FC Antrim took an early lead through Shane Donnelly.

In the second half, Sean Redmond got his reward for his hard work with a goal to make it 2-0. Remo pulled a goal back with 15 minutes to go but could not break down a resolute Antrim defence.

Michelin 0, Harryville Homers 1: Homers were made fight to the end to get to the Quarter Finals as Michelin had a lot of pressure in the second half.

The decisive goal came 8 minutes before half time when Mark McKay played the ball down the right to Paul McNeill who beat his marker to work his way into the penalty area before he sent over a deep cross to the back post where the inrushing Alan Rainey fired the ball into the roof of the net.

BSML DIVISION ONE

Carniny Rangers 3, Clough Rangers 0: Carniny halted Clough’s six-game unbeaten run as they returned to winning ways.

Carniny opened the scoring in the 54th minute when Mo McDowell picked up the ball in his own half and ran at the Clough back line. His shot was parried by keeper John Cunningham and attacking Carniny left back Ryan Balmer was on hand to tap home the rebound.

Young sub Darren Kidd scored a fine second goal for Carniny in the 73rd minute when his pace took him past the centre backs to latch on to Ryan Sands’ pass and despatch a quality finish.

The win was sealed in injury time when Frazer Young’s sublime first touch controlled Alex McCosh’s goal kick before steering a shot home from 20 yards.
