SML season reaches exciting conclusion

CARNINY Rangers completed a league and cup double as the playing side of the Tower Blinds Ballymena Saturday Morning League reached its conclusion last week.

Robert Young’s side added the Rainey Cup to their league title with a 4-1 success in Thursday night’s final.

Harryville Homers, who were pipped by their great rivals Carniny in the title chase, gained some consolation when they beat Moylena to win the Ace Cup final.

And there was also silverware for both Michelin and Cloughmills Thistle who won the Allen Cup and Paddy Dunlop Cup after winning their divisional play-off finals and they will takes their places in Division One and Divisin two respectively next season.

LEAGUE DINNER

Leighinmohr House Hotel is the venue this Friday, June 3, for the 42nd BSML Annual Presentation Dinner and a large attendance is expected to round off another successful season.
