Glenavon striker Eoin Bradley is attracting fans all the way from Spain.

His fan club swelled by four on Friday night as the football fans flew from Barcelona to take in the game against Carrick Rangers.

At first when the visitors arrived at Mourneview Park and announced they were here to see Eoin Bradley it raised a few smiles, but they chanted his name throughout the game and afterwards got to meet their hero.

A bemused Bradley was happy to have a picture withhis Spanish fans although he was not sure what it was all about.

“It was a big surprise,” said Eoin. “I didn’t know about them until after the game.

“It’s great to see them all the same and I’ve told the boss I’m able to bring fans here from far and wide.

“My spanish isn’t that good and they probably didn’t understand me either but I gather they also follow La Liga side Espanyol.”
