Special video of Irish Cup success

Lurgan Mail sports editor Gary Ellis captured the events of May 3 from the fans and players arriving at Mourneview Park on the morning of the final, to travelling with the team to the game and also special footage of the celebrations and the return home.

Game footage of the goals is also included courtesy of BBC Sport NI and the Irish Football Association.

It is a fantastic fly-on-the-wall video of a very special day in the history of Glenavon Football Club and will, over the years, become even more valuable and become a collectors item.

“This is a unique opportunity for fans to enjoy what turned out to be a famous day for the club,” said Glenavon chairman Adrian Teer.

“Everyone has seen the goals, but the behind the scenes footage makes it a great memento for any Glenavon fan and it is nice to have it on DVD.

The first 100 copies went on sale on Wednesday night and can be obtained only from the club shop, Blue Zone, priced at £8.99.
