Maurice was a very close friend of Uel’s throughout his life and after visited Uel during his brave and valiant fight against cancer.

For Uel football was a passion as he was involved with a number of clubs over the years and was also a referee for a number of years. His father Malcolm is also a Sports Bond member and to Malcolm and the entire family circle we extend our sincere sympathy.

Also on Maurice’s agency we learned of the passing of William Gillespie who is the husband of member Isobel and father of member Barbara, our deepest sympathy to them.

On a brighter note two members had the winner of the Grand National, Catherine Kernohan of Chichester Park and Clifford Adams of the Players Pool both backed Aurora’s Encore to win and have cause for celebration.
