Paul Foy’s men had the better of the early exchanges in Saturday’s Premier Division clash with Davy Freyne zipping one past the upright, while Andrew Simpson was denied by the keeper.

After the break it was Dunmurry who set the standard with the opening goal, knocking in a left-wing cross.

But Nortel substitute Timmy Clarke fired in the equaliser with a left foot strike into the corner, following a free-kick from his brother Jordan.

Not to be outdone, it was the other two subs who were involved in Nortel’s winner, Adam Irwin linking up with Simpson to prise the ball through for Simon Craig to make his mark.

On Saturday Nortel host Rooftop in the Clarence Cup.

Nortel: Murray - D Anderson (Craig), Thompson, Cardwell, Freyne - Conlin, Caughey, Lorrimer (Irwin), J Clarke - Fenner (T Clarke), Simpson.
