Teer elected to top post

Glenavon’s Adrian Teer has been elected chairman of the Northern Ireland Football League.

The Mourneview Park supremo was elected on Monday night and replaces Jack Grundie of Linfield who had to step down from his involvement with the NIFL on being elected IFA Deputy President in September.

“This is an honour for me personally, but I feel the appointment reflects the esteem in which Glenavon Football Club is held within the local game.”
