Banbridge Rangers Youth teams will begin their preparations for the incoming season this week with open training sessions at Cheney Park.

The junior teams within the club train together on Monday and Thursday nights at Cheney Park starting at 6pm sharp.

The club is encouraging anyone with a son or daughter of Primary or High School age with interest in football to bring them along.

Dublin Cup

Banbridge Rangers’ U9 team will travel to the prestigious Dublin Cup this weekend and will be looking to continue their excellent from last season where they consistently swept away any teams they came up against.

Under the guidance of Mark and Geordie Rice the boys will play three group games starting with a derby game against Banbridge Town followed by a game against Trombi White from Finland.

They will return the following day for a decider against Shamrock Rovers for a place in the knockout stages of the competition.

The squad taking part is Aaron Knox, Isaac Heslip, Llwyd Jones, Matthew Hampton, Joshua Thompson, Joshua Rice and Dillon Gilchrist with only the keeper, Aaron, being the only one over the age of seven.
