RATHFRILAND SWIFTS (SECONDS) FIXTURES (RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIP) - Saturday September 15 – away to Rosemount Rec in Junior Cup round one – KO 2pm;

RATHFRILAND SWIFTS RESERVES (THIRDS) FIXTURES (RESERVE DIVISION 4) - Saturday September 15 – home to Rectory Rangers Res in league, KO 2.15pm; Saturday September 22 – home to Lurgan Utd Res in league. KO 2.15pm.

RATHFRILAND COLTS (FOURTHS) FIXTURES (NEWCASTLE LEAGUE) - Saturday September 15 – Home to Saintfield in league. KO 2pm.

RANGERS TRAVEL IN JJB IRISH CUP - Rathfriland Rangers this Saturday travel to Desertmartin for their first game in the JJB Irish Cup. The home side play in the Premier section of the Ballymena & Provincial league and have been in the top five in the table this season since their league commenced. Both clubs know little of each other but Rathfriland, on the back of a great run of results, will be looking to make the long return journey with a ticket to the next round of the competition. Kick off 1.30pm.

SWIFTS FOR GREYABBEY - Rathfriland Swifts will also be on their travels this Saturday with an away trip to Rosemount FC of Greyabbey in the Coca Cola Junior Cup. Rosemount play in Division 2B of the Amateur league and as ever, this competition has a habit of throwing up interesting ties and this one is no different.. Kick off 1.30pm.

SWIFTS RESERVES V RECTORY RANGERS - Rathfriland Swifts Reserves will host Rectory Rangers in a league fixture at Iveagh Park. The Swifts Reserves have got off to a good start and will be looking to continue that with another win especially with home advantage. Kick off 2.15pm.

COLTS AT HOME TO SAINTFIELD - Rathfriland Colts will host for the first time this season this week against Saintfield Utd. Kick off 2pm.

COMMITTEE MEETING - The September committee meeting will take place at the clubrooms on Tuesday September 18 at 7pm. Please note the new earlier start time.

RATHFRILAND FC YOUTH - Rathfriland FC’s youth section is back in full swing after the summer recess with training continuing on Wednesday evenings at Iveagh Park from 7–8pm.

Annual membership fees for the 2012/13 season is one child £25, two children £40, three or more £50 Under 8’s £5. All existing and new players welcome.

DAN`S THE MAN! - Well done to Daniel Bailie, who scored in their 2–1 defeat to Lisbellaw, and the rest of the Rathfriland FC U15 team on their debut outing in Rathfriland FC Youths’ first ever game in the Mid Ulster League. By all accounts the boys played really well and were unfortunate not to at least take a point from the game.

SENTRY DUTY - Saturday September 8 – Chub, Gary Wilson, Rodney Patterson, Donna Davenport; Saturday September 15 – Lindsay, Karen, Mark I, John A.

MEMBERSHIP - Could everyone be reminded that with the new season getting underway that the 2012/13 membership fees are now due - £30 employed, £15 students, unemployed, senior citizens.
