RATHFRILAND FC YOUTH NOTICE - Could all parents of the youngest age group of Rathfriland Youth (4 – 7 year olds) please be informed that this group will now recommence their coaching on Wednesday 2nd March at 7pm at Iveagh Park. All new members are welcome. NIGHT AT THE RACES - Rathfriland FC are holding a Night at the Races on Saturday February 26 at the clubrooms. Horses are on sale at £10 each and anyone looking to sponsor a race please see any member of the committee. A big crowd is expected for this so if you want to get a seat get there early! There will be a few nibbles as well to round of the evening. A big thankyou to Paul Gibbons for the organisation of the event. NEWINGTON GAME - A great night for Rathfriland FC on Tuesday last when they travelled to Seaview to take on Premier League champions Newington YC. Despite losing the game 3–0, a packed 55 seater coach attended the game on a wet and windy evening at Crusaders’ ground. A big thank-you to Dessie Davenport, Gary Wilson and Chub McCabe for organising the transport arrangements. Chub lost his balance on the return journey – he says it was the Chinese slapping about in him!

YOUTH FOOTBALL - Youth football continues at Rathfriland FC. All age groups are welcome from 5 years to 15 years and for new registrations players will need two passport size photographs and a copy of the birth certificate. Membership for the season is £20 with a £2 charge per training night. TRAINING - Rathfriland FC training will take place at Cheney Park on a Monday evening from 8–10pm and on a Thursday night at Havelock Park from 9–10pm (Seconds and Thirds only – Firsts still at Iveagh Park). A £2 charge will be required for the Banbridge venues). All new and existing players welcome.

RANGERS AWAY TO SIROCCO - Rathfriland Rangers this Saturday travel to third placed team Sirocco at Wilgar Park, Belfast. Sirocco have been going well recently and will prove a tough test for the Whites – Brian Adair and his team will be looking for the three points in what promises to be a decent game. Kick off 2pm. SWIFTS HOME TO AMBASSADORS - Rathfriland Swifts host Ambassadors in a league fixture at Iveagh Park. The vistors will prove a very tough test for Rathfriland – they are a very good footballing side and it will take a top performance to get the three points. Kick off 2.15pm. COLTS HOME TO CASTLEWELLAN - Rathfriland Colts this Saturday host Castlewellan in a league fixture at Ingram Park. The two teams are sitting second and fourth in the league and hopefully home advantage will see the Colts through. Kick off 2pm.
