RANGERS HOME TO NEWCASTLE IN DERBY FIXTURE Rathfriland Rangers this Saturday will host derby rivals Newcastle in a league fixture at Iveagh Park. Newcastle is always a tough fixture with the local bragging rights always a bonus. Newcastle defeated league leaders Sirocco a couple of weeks ago so the visitors cannot be underestimated even though on paper it looks like a home win for Rangers. A big crowd is expected for this one. Kick off 2pm.

SWIFTS RESERVES HOME TO BANBRIDGE RANGERS SWIFTS - Rathfriland Swifts Reserves this Saturday host Banbridge Rangers Swifts in a league fixture at Ingram Park. Rathfriland had a great 4 – 1 win at the weekend and will be looking to continue their run. Both teams are going well and this will be a tough fixture with the three points in particular a must for the home side. Kick off 2.15pm.

COLTS AWAY TO ANNALONG - Rathfriland Colts this Saturday will travel away to Annalong for a league fixture. The Colts had no match last weekend but the previous week they had a 4 – 0 win and will be looking to follow that up this Saturday. Kick off 2pm.

TRAINING - Training returns to Iveagh Payk on Monday and Thursday evenings at 7pm.

COUPLES DARTS NIGHT - There will be a couples darts night at the club this Saturday 31st March at 7.30pm. The charge is £10 per couple and there will also be an auction of signed football shirts. There will be music afterwards. Come along and enjoy the craic!

RATHFRILAND FC YOUTH COACHING RESTARTS - Would all children and parents of the Rathfriland FC Youth teams please be informed that the weekly coaching sessions have restarted at Iveagh Park on Wednesdays evenings at 7 – 8pm. All welcome.

MATCHDAY SPONSOR - Matchday sponsor for this Saturday is William John Martin. William has been a long time sponsor and supporter to Rathfriland FC and this continued support is equally much appreciated by the committee.

50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS - Rathfriland FC will hold their 50th Anniversary celebrations on Saturday 23rd June at the Slieve Donard Hotel, Newcastle. This will be a black tie event with comedian Gene Fitzpatrick and live music by Track of the Foot part of the bill. Tickets are priced at £40 – all players, officials, sponsors and supporters past and present will be very welcome. Black tie suits can be accessed at S.D. Kells, Banbridge. More details to follow.

COMMITTEE MEETING - The next Rathfriland FC committee meeting will take place Tuesday 17th April at 7.30pm.
