RANGERS FIXTURES - Saturday February 4 – Home to Downshire YM in league. Kick off 2pm.

SWIFTS FIXTURES - Saturday February 4 – Away to Warrenpoint Town Reserves in league. Kick off 2.15pm.

SWIFTS RESERVES FIXTURES - Saturday February 4 – Home to Stranmillis Reserves in Mid Ulster League Cup. Kick off 1.30pm.

COLTS FIXTURES - Saturday February 4 –Away in league. Kick off 2pm. RANGERS HOME TO DOWNSHIRE - Rathfriland Rangers this Saturday will host Downshire YM in a league fixture at Iveagh Park. Second placed Downshire have been in good form recently and another 3–0 win last weekend. This will be the first time in weeks that Rangers will be in league action but the large Rathfriland support will hopefully go home happy with the three points. Kick off 2pm.

SWIFTS AWAY AT ‘POINT - Rathfriland Swifts this Saturday will travel to Warrenpoint Town Reserves in a league fixture. The Swifts had a brilliant point away to second placed Coagh in their last game and will be looking to take all three from mid table `Point. Kick off 2.15pm.

SWIFTS RESERVES HOME IN CUP - Rathfriland Swifts Reserves this Saturday host Reserve Division 2 side Stranmillis Reserves in the Mid Ulster League Cup. Stranmillis are sitting mid table two leagues above Rathfriland but the home side will be looking to continue their recent good run of form. This one has an early kick off at 1.30pm.

COLTS - This Saturday Rathfriland Colts will be on their travels in league action. Kick off 2pm.

TRAINING - Training continues to take place at Cheney Park, Banbridge on a Monday night from 8-10pm and on a Thursday night from 9 – 10pm. Charge is £2 per session or £5 for two training sessions plus matchday subs. GET YOUR KIT ON! - Things hit a new level on Saturday past when the travelling group of Rathfriland supporters congregated to head away by bus to Rangers` away fixture at Kilmore Rec. Usual pilot ‘Reliable Rennick’ had the day off so a new face on the scene had the task of chauffeuring the group – before departure he asked did they want him to load all the kitbags on first! With the youngest man on the bus six months shy of his 40th birthday there was hardly going to be a tea bag between them let alone a kit bag each. When you consider that the group included the likes of Finlay Donaldson, Bill Groves, Geordie Wilton and Eric Mulhall (and Chub!) you can see how far out the driver was – he needed a bag of spectacles!

BINGO AND MR & MRS - On Saturday February 11 Rathfriland FC will be holding bingo (£5 entry) followed by a ‘Mr & Mrs’ competition. There will be music afterwards – come along and enjoy a great night`s craic – it will be interesting to see which Rathfriland FC couples know each other the best !!

MATCHDAY SPONSOR – Matchday sponsor for this Saturday is Rathfriland FC player Adrian Megaw. This is a super gesture of continued support to the club from Adrian.

50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS - Rathfriland FC will hold their 50th Anniversary celebrations on Saturday June 23 at the Slieve Donard Hotel, Newcastle. This will be a ‘Black Tie’ event with comedian Gene Fitzpatrick and live music by Trek of the Foot part of the bill. Tickets are priced at £40 – all players, officials, sponsors and supporters past and present will be very welcome. More details to follow.
