RANGERS V CREWE UTD

After an impressive 2 - 1 win against Lurgan Celtic on Thursday evening, Rangers played Mid Ulster League Intermediate A side Crewe Utd on Saturday in a friendly at Iveagh Park with Rangers coming from a goal down to win 2 - 1. The visitors scored at the start of the second period but Ally Wilson equalised from the penalty spot on 80 minutes and then Lee Feeney rocketed one in off the crossbar from 25 yards for what will be one of the best goals seen at Iveagh Park. Another good work out for Clifford Sterritt’s new squad to keep their pre season journey on track.

SUPPORTERS CLUB

Well done to Alan Dickson, head of the Rathfriland FC Supporters Club who have through their recent fund raising efforts upgraded the screen in the club rooms - well done to all!

This week Rangers host Dunmurray YM on tuesday evening at 7.15pm and Ballyvea on Thursday at the same time. This continues manager Clifford Sterritt’s preparation for the new campaign and gives the supporters more opportunity to see their team get ready for Saturday 8th August.
