Tough going against Mac

The U10 Whites then found it tough work against a very good Immaculata side.

The Mac had a few outstanding individual players who scored a few good goals despite the hard work in the whites rearguard from Bradley White and Ben Gilliland.

Jonathan McCullough was having an excellent game and his performance was rewarded with a well taken goal.

Kenzie Bradley worked hard in the wide left role and he was unlucky with a couple of cross field balls which just failed to reach their target.

The wee Whites were struggling to get their passing game going as their opponents pushed up and put them under pressure at every opportunity forcing them to play it long which just doesn’t suit these players.

Matthew Moore then got a goal after being picked out by a pin point ball from keeper Xander Power.

A day which is maybe best forgotten due mostly to the boys inability to contain Immaculata’s skilful ball players.
