Town to host Glebe North on Saturday

Banbridge Town have arranged a pre-season friendly against southern side Glebe North at Crystal Park this Saturday (19 July).

Glebe are from Balbriggan, just north from Dublin.

They once featured Glenavon Irish Cup winning hero Tony Grant in their ranks and are now managed by Liam Kelly, who played for Glentoran, St Pats, Shelbourne and Longford Town.

Admission to Saturday’s game is £3 and kick-off will be at 2pm.

Town began their pre-season matches in Newry last night but were beaten 5-1, new signing Ally Wilson scoring their only goal from the penalty spot.
