Trio avoid each other

FOR the first time ever there could be three teams from the North West to reach the Coca/Cola Intermediate Cup semi-final this season.

The draw for the quarter finals took place at the IFA and Institute, Limavady United and Newbuildings United were all kept apart.

Paul Kee’s side travel to in-form Glentoran II, Newbuildings host Ards Rangers in the tie of the round, while Limavady have been given a bye into the last four after Bangor were dismissed from the competition for fielding an ineligible player.

In the other quarter-final tie, last year’s beaten finalists Dergview host Banbridge Town.

Those ties are to be played on Saturday, March, 16 (KO 1.30pm).
