Trophy hat-trick for UUJ’s Kelly

THERE was a trophy hat-trick for Ryan Kelly, capturing all three second-team awards, for the Manager and Players’ Player of the Year, as well as the Leading Goalscorer, as UUJ held their annual awards dinner at the home of one of their main sponsors, the Bellevue Arms.

Ryan obviously made quite an impression in this his first season at the club. However, also making quite an impact on his return to the fold was First Team Manager’s Player of the Year Anto Stewart winning the very trophy he received in his last season at UUJ, four years ago.

The manager’s choice of the previous season, Sean Walsh, this time gained the vote of the players, with the striker doubling up by retaining the first-team Leading Goalscorer’s trophy, surpassing his total of the year before.
