Trophy hunt goes on for Carniny sides

IN the mid week matches this week the U13s recorded a 1-0 win against Glenavon and the U15s notched up their 11th win in their last 12 National League games with a comfortable 4-0 win over Carrick Rangers Colts.

The U14s were unlucky not to reach the quarters of the NIBFA Cup when a last minute goal saw them lose to Sunnyside 2-1 at Lurgan in what was a great advert for youth football.

And on Saturday the under 13s continue to impress with yet another victory which sees them further climb the table with a good home win in the National League against St Mary's.

Belfast pulled a goal back but three minutes later Carniny restored their two goal advantage after a superb run down the left wing by Neilly who squared the ball for Young to score his second with a simple tap in.
