Turkish delight for Devine
DERRY City manager Declan Devine admits he’s under no illusion how big a task his side face when they take on Turkish side Trabzonspor, in the second qualifying round of the Europa League.
The City gaffer knows his side have a uphill battle against the likes of Didier Zokora Marc Janko and Halil Altıntop to name but three in the Turkish side’s squad, another man in their squad who Devine knows well is defender Souleymane Bamb.
The big centre-back, who signed from Lecister City last year played under Stephen Kenny and Devine at Dunfermline Athletic.
The ties will be on July 18 & 25.
