Two impressive away wins for the U10 development squad

Banbridge Town Juniors U10s got their new season of development games underway on Saturday in Dromore and came away with two impressive wins.

Banbridge started very brightly in their first game and they hit the ground running with two quick goals by midfielder Josh Noble.

Banbridge created numerous chances with the midfield trio of Noble, Adam Hamilton and Patrick McGrath, supporting striker Jack Murray at every opportunity.

It was McGrath who made it 3-0 when his low drive found the bottom corner.

With Banbridge pushing forward at every opportunity the visitors were a threat on the break but could not find a way through the outstanding defensive duo of Lee Whitten and Bobby Jones.

The Juniors soon made the final score four nil when Adam Hamilton found the net from a tight angle.

confident

Banbridge then went into their second game in a very confident mood from the first game and this soon showed when they raced into a two goal lead when Adam Hamilton found the net twice in a 10 minute spell.

threat

Banbridge were always a threat going forward and Patrick McGrath was unlucky to see his driving effort hit the crossbar but the Town soon made it three with Jack Murray stabbing home Josh Nobles cross.

Adam Hamilton rounded off his hat-trick when he burst forward from midfield and guided his shot under the advancing goalkeeper,

Banbridge conceded a late goal to leave the final score 4-1.
