Dromore started brightly and Beggs could have scored after five minutes but a great save from the keeper denied him.

Both teams then had half chances in an end to end game and it was Kelvin who scored first when a cross was unluckily turned into his own net by McDonald for an own goal on 20 minutes.

Dromore were the better team for the rest of the half with Lockart and Beggs getting some decent chances after balls from Curran and Cunningham but couldn’t finish.

The second half started with Kelvin pushing forward using the strong wind to their advantage and it paid off on 55 minutes when they scored their second.

Dromore then went straight up the pitch and Beggs scored with a calm finish past the keeper. The weather was now playing its part with Dromore struggling to get the ball up the pitch and Kelvin punished them with another goal on 70 minutes. Kelvin’s fourth followed on 80 minutes with Hill the unlucky Dromore defender this time with the second own goal of the day.

DROMORE SECONDS: Herron, Ward, McDonald, McGuigan, McCutcheon, Smylie, Curran, Cunningham, Smith, Lockart, Beggs.

SUBS: Cairns, Hill, McEnemy.
