U16s and U17s keep winning

In an otherwise disappointing return to league action for the Distillery Academy sides, the U16s and U17s kept up their titles bids.

The U16s were one of few shining lights as they kept themselves bang in the hunt in a tight section with a 6-0 victory over Banbridge. Dale Monroe got the Whites goal in a 1-0 victory for the U17s as they edged closer to the inevitable league success.

The U13s are going to find it hard to win their section after going down 3-1 to fellow title challengers Loughgall Youth. The U14s also had a set-back in their league campaign losing 4-2 to Annagh Utd.

The U12s put up a superb performance before going down 6-4 to high-flying second-place Windmill. The U15s also came out on the wrong end of a defeat as they lost out 2-1 in a tight encounter with Shankill.

There were goals and oustanding performances aplenty at mini-soccer. The U8s got a number of goals against Glentoran and the U9s also got a few in a game with St. Oliver Plunkett.

The U10s produced two excellent displays against Cliftonville. The U10 Whites were involved in a super game with The Reds. Matthew Moore, Ross White, Calum Ashby, Conall Cunningham and Jonathan McCullough all got goals for the U10s in another game with the North Belfast Premiership Academy side.
