Under 14’s hit double figures in League Cup match against Moira

Banbridge Rangers Under 14s began the defence of the League Cup on Saturday with a confident eleven goal victory over Moira at Cheney Park.

The game started in the midst of a snow storm but by the time the sun came out midway through the first half the game as a contest was already over.

Prolific striker Tom Stannage grabbed himself yet another hat-rick during the game.

Adding to the goals were Luke Brown, whilst Stannage got the third after 16 minutes.

From the restart Adam Loughlin won the ball before driving forward on a solo run knocking it past the last defender and rounding the keeper to score from an acute angle.

Also on target were Jamie Berry, Stannage, Josh Lyttle, Josh Crawford (2), Ben Hillis and Adam Loughlin.

Banbridge Rangers next group game in the League Cup is against Coalisland at the Tech pitch on Saturday with kick off at 10.30am.
