Shortly afterwards Ben O’Neill picked up the ball deep in his own half and made a surging run and played a lovely through ball to O’Broin who drilled it across the edge of the box to the on running Zack Erwin who smashed it first time in off the post to make it 2-0.

Midway through the second half O’Broin found McKeown down the left hand side and his cross was cleverly dummied by O’Neill for Kyle Wakefield who was running in and made no mistake from five yards out.

A long ball from McAvoy sent McKeown clear and again he hit a sweet shot into the top corner to put the game safe before Glenavon scored a consolation goal.
