Comptition will be great for the squad who won the Northern Ireland cup just a few short weeks ago, but any boy who wishes to come and add to this talented side is welcome to attend at Wakehurst on Tuesday 4th, 11th and 25th of June, training times 7-8.30pm.

The under 10’s played out an entertaining friendly with Glentoran on Saturday at Ballysillan and although the Braid boys narrowly lost, this was a good experience for the side as they begin to play 9 a side football and begin to learn more about positional play and developing their game.

This Saturday the boys travel to Murray Park in Glasgow to face Rangers 2003’s and after last year’s successful trip the boys are eagerly looking forward to their return.

They will be joined the under 11s and under 14s,the oldest group facing another boys club from Glasgow while the 11’s will face the ‘Gers’.

The 2000s continue their preparation for the Foyle Cup with training every Wednesday night at the 3g, again any boy wanting to come up for try out for the squad is more than welcome, 7-8pm every Wednesday.

They will now be joined by the 1999’s,under 14s,whose entry to the prestigious tournament was confirmed last week as the Sky Blues head to the North West from July 22-27th

The Youth Academy prize nights are also this week, with the Mini Soccer awards on Wednesday 5th and the Team awards night on Thursday 6th in the Des Allen Suite at the Showgrounds.
