United fill void with friendly
TOBERMORE United had no game last Saturday but boss Johnny Law was able to give most of his squad a game with some going with the reserves who won 2-0 with William Hassan bagging both and the rest going to Portstewart for a friendly where they ran out 5-1 winners.
Tobermore’s next scheduled games are away to Ballinamallard on February 4th and home to Limavady on February 25th but they have put a request into the IFA to have some games brought forward and are hopeful their request will be granted.
Tobermore Mini Soccer sessions continue this Saturday in Maghera Recreation Centre, from 10.00 am until 11.00. Players as usual should come along kitted out ready to play with shin guards and trainers essential (not football boots).
The fun sessions are supervised by IFA accredited coaches and are open to all boys and girls of primary school age.
