United golf day a huge success

Ballymena United FC held their annual golf competition on Friday at Ballymena Golf Club.

The event was a resounding success and was well attended by players, staff, sponsors and supporters.

Excellent weather prevailed all day and all participants made it home dry.

Following the golf, and meal in the clubhouse, Ballymena United manager, Glenn Ferguson made presentations to the following prize-winners: winner – Gareth McCullough; runner-up – Allen Stewart; third – Mark Surgenor; Front 9- Robin Thompson; Back 9 – Norman Kelly; Longest Drive – Philip Simpson; Shot of the Day - Clifford Adams, who managed to hit the clubhouse roof with his opening tee shot!
