United make winning start in Foyle Cup
BALLYMENA United under-19s made a winning start to their Foyle Cup campaign on Monday night.
Clifford Adams’ side saw off Letterkenny Rovers by one goal to nil in their opening match at Wilton Park.
The decisive goal came from striker Peter Duffin, who is back with his hometown club after a spell at Cliftonville.
United under-19s take on Strabane Athletic at the Melvin pitches tonight (7pm) in their second game of the tournament.
