United re-sign midfielder Davidson
BALLYMENA United have received a boost ahead of the new season with news that Alan Davidson has re-signed for the club.
The midfielder made a big impression at the Showgrounds in the second half of last season after signing a short-term deal as a free agent in February.
However, it had looked as though Davidson, a joiner, was going to pursue the possibility of a move to England in the hope of forging a full-time career.
He has now pledged his future to the Sky Blues and will be a key figure for United as they begin their Danske Bank Premiership campaign at home to Linfield this Saturday.
