United Youth Academy launch big prize draw

BALLYMENA United Youth Academy sides played their first matches for a number of weeks, but showed no signs of rustiness as they returned five wins from six on a great weekend.

The younger sides all recorded good victories and the 15’s showed good form against a determined Grosvenor.

At the senior game in the afternoon the Academy had a fundraising collection,raising a terrific sum of £525 which will continue to aid in bringing the best young talent through towards pulling on the sky blue shirt for the first team, as Jamie Davidson, Neil Lowry, Aaron Stewart and Chris Rodgers showed again on Saturday past.

The quartet also helped launch the Youth Academy Grand Prize Draw sponsored by Travelmax Galgorm, the top prize among many being a £1500 Travelmax voucher.

Tickets are widely available through any Youth Academy member.
