The locals, however, got off to the worst possible start as they conceeded after 10 minutes when a defensive lapse allowed the Moria striker to poke home from close range.

The Juniors were really under little pressure for the opening exchanges and bounced back after this early set back when Owen Vennard was hacked down outside the box and Reuben Turner stepped up to drille the free-kick high into the top left of the net, giving the diving keeper no chance.

The Juniors upped the tempo and began to take control of the ball as James Orr and Cameron Fizzel worked brilliantly in the middle of the park forcing the visitorsback into their own half.

Shea Winters began to see more of the ball and he had a couple of efforts that the keeper delt with.

Ben Johnston was having an effective game down the right flank as was Charles Cully, who slotted in at right back and was composed throughout.

Town went at the Moria rearguard in the early part of the second half and this pressure paid off when they went ahead. Town played b neat exchanges between Cameron Frizell and Shea Wintersefore the ball found Owen Vennard, whose shot took a bobble and dropped over the head of the keeper to make it 2-1.

Charles Cully and Tom Mehaffey began to see more of the ball and Town got their deserved third goal when after a goalmouth scramble, Owen Vennard was on hand to fire home from close range after 50 minutes for his second of the day.

As the homeside went in search of a fourth, Moria broke away on the counter and were awarded a penalty which was slotted home to give the Juniors a nervy last 10 minutes.

However, the Juniors were awarded a penalty when Tom Mehaffey was brough down after a mazy run but unfortunately the penalty was saved and the rebound goal dissallowed for offside.

The Juniors saw out the remainder of the game for a well deserved win.
