The Lurgan Blues can secure their top six spot with a win, with just two points needed to pip Ballymena.

“I will change the team from Monday night, it gives those who missed out a chance to help us cross the line,” said Hamilton.

“It was so tough to leave so many players out of the cup tie because they all deserved a spot in the team.

“In one way it’s great to have such a choice, but it also means some players will be disappointed. That is what makes it hard for me.

“However, I know the team which goes out on Saturday can produce a performance to get the three points.

“We are on a great run at present and hopefully we can keep that momentum going.”

Glenavon continue their non-stop programme of games with another trip to Stangmore Park on Tuesday night to play Warrenpoint Town in the second of their two postponed games against Barry Gray’s side.
