VIDEO: Ferguson critical of players in League Cup scare
Ballymena United manager Glenn Ferguson was critical of his Ballymena United players’ performance as they edged past Championship Two side Ballymoney United on penalties in the second round of the League Cup.
Ferguson made eight changes to the side which had won against Dungannon on Saturday but insisted his team should have had enough senior football experience to produce a better display.
“There are not too many who can come and rap the door and say ‘I want to be in the first team’ because on that showing, I don’t think they have the right to do that,” said Ferguson.
